I was shopping at a farmer’s market during the fall in ‘06 when I met Morse Pitts of Windfall Farms. I asked him if the produce he was selling was Organic. He explained that it was Certified Naturally Grown, which, in his case, employed all the standards and more of Organic certification.  In the full-length film, Morse explains the difficulty of paying for Organic certification when you have a small farm producing a wide variety of crops, which research has shown to be healthier for the environment.

This is a promotional video for Sequoia Community Initiatives, a non-profit transitional housing center serving the greater New York City area. Among an array of forward-thinking holistic services offered in their programs, SCI provides yoga and art classes to help integrate mind, body, and soul healing for their clients.  This video premiered at the Apollo Theater at SCI’s American Roots Benefit Concert in the Winter of ‘06.
